La vie en rose introduces their 6th issue „IDENTITÄTSKRIEG“.
Time passes and by experiencing ups and downs – we realize that our identity needs to protect itself from vicious intruders. Especially in young, fragile ages, the position as a rebel becomes an essential part of our identity and drive. Creativity is a war within. It is not possible to escape this conflict. You have to accept this conflict and fight with devotion. War carries a very negative connotation, especially today, it is a cruel business. But the war we play out inside ourselves is of a completely different nature. It is a liberating act, a screaming gesture, the way out of the handcuffs we placed upon ourselves. Even more it is a fight for our own acceptance towards ourselves. Once we’ve accepted ourselves the weapons of the outer world loose its powers. La vie en rose’s new issue “IDENTITÄTSKRIEG” is an insight into feelings probably many artists have to deal with. The question of “Who we are?” is not of importance. “How are we dealing with the personas we represent?” is the question – This issue is carried by the motivation to fully embody the artistic path instead of running away from it. There is acceptance of one’s own decisions and one’s own will.. It is a rough journey but above all, we accept and enjoy the flight!
